These Rider Terms and Conditions ("Rider Terms") govern participation as a rider on the Falung platform. By registering as a rider, submitting an application, or using rider-related features, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. Rider Registration
To become a rider on Falung, you must:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Submit any required documents or verification details.
Maintain up-to-date profile information.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Falung reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any rider account at its sole discretion.
2. Independent Service Provider
Falung is a directory and discovery platform.
As a rider, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are an independent service provider.
You are not an employee, agent, contractor, representative, or partner of Falung.
Registration on Falung does not create an employment relationship.
You are solely responsible for your services, conduct, and interactions with users.
3. Rider Responsibilities
Riders agree to:
Provide truthful information during registration.
Maintain valid licenses, permits, registrations, and insurance where required by law.
Keep profile information accurate.
Conduct themselves professionally and respectfully.
Comply with all local, state, and national laws.
Riders must not:
Impersonate another individual.
Provide misleading vehicle or identity information.
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
Harass, threaten, or discriminate against users.
4. Vehicle Information
Where applicable, riders must provide accurate information regarding:
Vehicle type
Vehicle registration number
Vehicle ownership details
Vehicle photographs
Other information requested by Falung
Falung may request updated information at any time.
5. Stand Check-In and Availability
Falung allows riders to indicate availability through stand check-in features.
By using these features, riders agree that:
Check-ins must only be performed when physically present at the designated stand.
GPS and location services may be used to verify stand presence.
Falung may automatically check out riders who leave the designated stand area.
Availability information displayed to users may depend on stand presence verification.
Attempts to manipulate, falsify, or bypass location verification systems may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
6. Ratings and Reviews
Users may submit ratings and reviews regarding their experiences.
Riders acknowledge that:
Reviews are generated by users.
Falung does not guarantee positive reviews.
Reviews may affect rider visibility and reputation.
Falung may remove reviews that violate platform policies.
Riders may not:
Post fake reviews.
Incentivize reviews through misleading practices.
Harass users regarding reviews.
7. Direct Arrangements with Users
Falung does not facilitate ride bookings, fare collection, or transportation agreements.
All arrangements made with users are solely between the rider and the user, including:
Service availability
Pickup arrangements
Pricing and fares
Payment methods
Service conditions
Falung is not responsible for disputes arising from such arrangements.
8. Rider Conduct
Riders must maintain respectful and professional behavior at all times.
Prohibited conduct includes:
Fraudulent activity
Misrepresentation
Abuse or harassment
Discrimination
Illegal activities
Posting inappropriate content
Misuse of platform features
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent account termination.
9. Safety and Compliance
Riders are solely responsible for:
Operating vehicles safely.
Following traffic laws.
Maintaining vehicle roadworthiness.
Obtaining required licenses and permits.
Maintaining legally required insurance coverage.
Falung does not verify ongoing compliance and makes no guarantees regarding rider qualifications.
10. Fees and Payments
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
Falung does not collect ride fares.
Falung does not process transportation payments.
Falung does not participate in pricing negotiations.
Any payments exchanged between riders and users are handled directly between those parties.
11. Account Suspension and Termination
Falung may suspend, restrict, or terminate a rider account if:
False information is provided.
Platform policies are violated.
Fraudulent activity is suspected.
User safety is compromised.
Applicable laws are violated.
Falung's decisions regarding account moderation are final.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Falung shall not be liable for:
Loss of income
Loss of business opportunities
Vehicle damage
Personal injury
Property damage
User disputes
Service interruptions
Actions of third parties
Riders participate on the platform at their own risk.
13. Indemnification
Riders agree to indemnify and hold harmless Falung, its owners, employees, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
Rider activities
Transportation services provided by the rider
Violations of these Rider Terms
Violations of applicable laws
14. Changes to Rider Terms
Falung may update these Rider Terms from time to time.
Continued use of rider services after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law
These Rider Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes relating to these Rider Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
